Most New Zealand printer-supply websites are either offshore marketplaces with three-week shipping, or local stores charging that for a single black ink. We started InkCartridges.co.nz because there was an obvious gap: a New Zealand business that stocks the cartridge you actually need, ships it tracked the same day, charges a fair price, and answers the phone when you call.
We’re a small team. The same person who replies to your email is the one chasing it up with the supplier on your behalf. That keeps us careful about quality and very reluctant to leave a customer waiting.

Same-day dispatch
Auckland metro orders placed before 2pm on a business day are dispatched same-day; metro typically has the parcel the next morning. Outside Auckland metro, dispatch is the next working day.

3. How we work
We’re a small team running this business from an Auckland office — the same address you can see on the map below. Orders ship across New Zealand on the NZ Post and Aramex courier networks. Auckland metro orders placed before 2pm on a business day are dispatched same-day; outside Auckland metro, dispatch is the next working day. A small number of low-velocity SKUs add 1–2 working days, and that lead time is disclosed on the relevant product page.

Customer support, returns, refunds, and warranty all run through us — never through an offshore call centre. One number, one inbox, one team.
4. What we stock
We carry two kinds of cartridges, each clearly labelled on every product page:
- Genuine (OEM): made by the printer manufacturer — HP, Brother, Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Samsung, Kyocera and several others. Backed by the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Compatible: third-party cartridges built to comparable specifications, offered at a lower cost than genuine. Each one is quality-checked on receipt and backed by our own 12 months replacement guarantee.

5. Where we ship
Every order is dispatched from our Kelston, Auckland office using NZ Post and Aramex (CourierPost). All parcels are tracked end-to-end.
- Auckland metro — 1–2 working days from dispatch.
- Rest of North Island — 1–3 working days from dispatch.
- South Island — 2–4 working days from dispatch.
- Rural delivery & NZ public-holiday weekends add 1–2 working days.

7. Consumer rights
Your statutory rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are unaffected by your choice of cartridge — the CGA applies to every product we sell, genuine and compatible alike. We sell in trade, so we cannot contract out of the guarantees for consumer purchases.
